About Me
Oilers yes. I can sit through 9 innings of baseball. I crave the smell of a campfire. I absolutely love a perfect green lawn. I drive a classic 2002 Chev 1500HD OBS 4x4 just like many of my clients. I will never sell it.
Why I’m in Insurance Today
My dad was self-employed, just like me, not in life insurance though — the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree.
When we were young, he had a $1 million life insurance policy on himself just in case. Back then, that was far from the norm.
The lesson stayed with me: if the worst had happened, which thankfully it didn't, our family would have been okay.
Investing that $1M in the early ’80s with sky-high interest rates could have let us live off the interest alone. That stuck with me.
I’m the guy who shows up in the toughest situations. While others are taking money from the family during the worst possible time, I want to be the one to delivery a large chq.
I've learned so much the past 24 years, I actually feel like I'm just getting started. I absolutely love this business.
In 2008 I started Fusion with one goal in mind. Great service, small by design, and we only work with nice people for the long term. Basically the opposite or large institutions.
Far too often I see business owners settling for average advice, average results and once a year service.
I decided to do things differently: no call centers, no layers — just direct, strategic advice focused on group benefits, life insurance, disability and critical illness insurance.
I’ve spent the last 24 years helping Alberta business-owner families protect what matters most — their businesses, their teams, and their family.
We’re an active outdoor family and make the most of Alberta’s summers at the lake — tubing, fishing, and gathering around the fire roasting s’mores.
During the winter months I’m a hockey coach and board member with SPS Fuzion Female Minor Hockey, and I absolutely love coaching.
There’s something truly special about watching the young athletes grow, build confidence, and develop both on and off the ice.
I’m happily married and the proud father of two amazing daughters. Together with my family, we live in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
We’re actively teaching our daughters the value of hard work, what it means to be a great teammate, and the importance of always pushing their limits — both on and off the ice.
Comet is the latest addition to our family. She is a soft coated wheaten terrier, Comet, who is the center of family. She’s incredibly smart and recently learned how to shake a paw in just over a month — next up, please tell us when you need to go outside.
